In terms of fund selection, we find that passive investment funds are suitable for most clients.
However we do understand that some clients may have specialist requirements preferring an active investment strategy. They themselves often take a very active role in the investment selection process. In these situations a specialist discretionary investment manager would usually be recommended for the client based on their circumstances.
In this case, the risk profiling, asset allocation, and investment selection and investment review process would be agreed between the client and discretionary investment manager.
